This is a basic email I have sent out due to the financial situation that has caught up with our family. I've never been in this situation and it frankly scares the shit out of me.

We will not be attending. I wish we could but at this time our house is in serious jeopardy with the wife being off work for so long, and myself only being back since July.

If we manage to keep our house, I doubt I will even have cheap internet access for a very long time.

Can anyone tell me where this Obahma stimulus money is?? I'm needing some in a bad way!!!

Anyone interested in some free eggs should contact me. Or for that matter anything else you might be looking for. I still have a gokart with a 12hp electric start motor I never finished getting running available.... original motor was a 5hp :-P ,I have 500 in it.

Assuming I still have a place to grow stuff next summer, I am looking for mustard seed, yellow and brown.

Don't know how long I will have net access but if I disappear or unless I figure out how to build a really strong cheap/ FREE wifi antenna...well...

...to AIGAD - I love the mods you and Lamron have done to your mohaa maps and models since I have found the downloads a couple years ago. I never knew who really did the maps or who did the models for client but they both rule!!!! and as a result,...if you visit the GOB server you will note that Brest and Berlin thank Lamron for the help. This translates into that everything that I wanted to do so far, had already had been done hense the thankyou if you visit.

...to Lamron - ... If you are willing,....lol, I'll do it too, show some shooting stuff and it blowing up, your own custom videos hehehe. Don't blow Frankie all the way up, just make a mold of him and blow that one up... you mythbuster you lol.

...to Redrock - Your a tough one to ask lol,... got a microscope laying around unused? Had a project planned awhile back but never got to it. Had to do with close up camera shots also wanted to do some closeups of some of my plant growth experiments...cell structures and what not. Was actually getting detailed...self learning/remembering high school experiments lol

Will do what I can to stay in touch and feel free to send me components to build an evil free powerful wifi antenna lol. All the free connections are up hill over trees...this sucks.

Sorry to hear that Major. I was thinking I was going to have to write one of those letters myself but I have been luckier than some and am still working.

Have you tried telling your mortgage company that you'd like to keep the house but can't afford it? They don't want to foreclose because they won't be able to sell it in today's market. My property value dropped so far below what I owe on the house that my best finacial move would actually be to abandon my house and go buy another. I told my mortgage company that and they ended up dropping my interest rate by about 3% and saved me about $170 per month. They'd rather keep a good payer for a smaller amount than get nothing at all.

I hope everything gets better for you, I can't imaging giving up the internet! Couldn't you give up something else, like food, instead?

If I lived alone then the answer would be yes. ;D

Also yes, we are waiting for a response from out mortgage company to find out what is going on. If the payments get reduced, the problem is the utility bills, car insurance those things will be coming first.

I hope it goes well also. We've been here 8 or 9 years now. Hopefully you will still see me logged in, but in the event we can keep the house but I still lose my access, I'll have plenty of neighborhood varmints to take my aggression out on.

hey Lamron...how long did it take for your mortgage comp, to lower your rate after you first asked them?....we are looking at a 3 month period here.

First time I called them they asked me a ton of questions about income and expenses, and told me I'd get a packet in the mail within a week. One week later I haven't received anything yet, so I call them. They have no record of ever talking to me. So we started all over again with the same questions, and said I'd get a call within two weeks. Two weeks later I call back and they claim they have no record of ever talking to me. By now I'm pretty mad, and they assured me that every phone call is carefully noted and recorded. I said you're clearly lying about that because you don't have any record of MY previous calls. So we went through it again with all the same questions. I already had all the answers ready because this was the third time for doing all this. They swore that they would send me an overnighted envelope with the papers I needed to sign. Three days later I call back and they claim they've never talked to me, have no record of anything and they never call anyone or send anything out until the end of the month anyway. So I told them all of the questions they were going to ask me and the answers. Apparently, every time I call they take down my information and then throw it away.

After the forth time around, they finally send me the paperwork and the dates are all wrong. Not even consistently wrong. My "first payment due" at the top of the page doesn't match the "first payment due" at the bottom, AND those dates are 1-2 weeks in the past. They actually made the due date EARLIER than the date the paperwork was printed. So I call and we fight about it some more.

Eventually, here's how it ended up: They lowered the interest by 3%, and I have to pay the new amount by phone on time for three months to prove that I can pay the lower amount. If I can't pay the lower amount, it goes back up to the original amount. So each month I pay by phone on time and 2-3 days later they send me a notice confirming my payment AND a threatening letter saying that I haven't paid my mortgage.

Why is it that every company out there is run by the most criminally stupid people they can find? The problem in this country isn't high unemployment. The problem is that the wrong people are unemployed. In a sane world these people would starve to death, unmourned.

omg, that's more or less what's happening here. when we leave a msg they say they will call in 24-48 hrs. This always happens to be a recording that returns the call telling us to call them back... Morons I tell you!

This company is called ocwen, and when you talk to a person, you can clearly tell they outsource their people...

This has been going on for a few weeks and the city has listed half of our property for sale due to the tax they were supposed to pay last time.

In their infinite wisdom, they neglected the fact there are two properties here.
