The Spiderman one looks interesting. I guess they're trying to do the same thing as the Batman movies; just start over and pretend none of the other movies ever happened.

As for Spidey, it looks like it's more into the backstory of the motivation and awakening of Spiderman, with some of the more classic lone-wolf hero teen anguish that really sells to young female types. I want to see it when it comes to DVD.

I agree with both of you...HOWEVER, me being the comic book nerd I am, This Sipey movie will show his TRUE webslingers that are comic book accurate since his debut all those years ago! Pause it @ 2:12 and you'll get a shot! His webs were NEVER organic!!!!!!!!!!! His web making recipe came from INSTINCTIVE knowledge from being bitten, not some gay lame easy excuse organic crap! ------------------------------FYI------------------------------------------- Now Having said that, Spider-Man 2099 comic book series was an organic wrist based shooter! They screwed this up when they did the Spider-Man Unlimited series on Fox Kids right after the other 90's Fox Kids Spider-Man series. ------------------------------FYI--------------------------------------------- This means there is some new movie tech shows AND toys coming out Probly a new silly string shooter, but hey.... The Avengers and other Marvel stuff coming out are being as accurate as they can for time constraint reasons... which is good for the limit they are under...someone saw how much the accuracy mattered and started crossover films... This is really important to comic book nerds like me. edit- Just realized something about the Batman vs Bane thing. In one Of their encounters, Bane broke Batmans back. I wonder if they will throw that in the new movie somehow.

WOW, just heard Conan speak in a TV trailer for the first time. Looked it up and confirmed. It's Ronan from SG Atlantis. Maybe after Red sees Conan, he'll watch a few SG Atlantis episodes. ;D Edit - I was just told by a friend that same guy plays a character on Game of Thrones! I guess I'm going ro have to look into that show. I don't even know anything about it, but all the people I hear say it's good are guys....so it must be violent

I watched SG A the first few episodes. I just never liked the whole cheezy feel and look and acting to the series. However, I thoroughly enjoyed SG Universe. It got weak only when it fell back on the SG previous plots and activities (the Lucian (sp?) Alliance, etc.). Too bad it ended after just 2 seasons. As to the actor in Conan--Jason Momoa--he played Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones. I thought I recognized his face from the Conan trailers, but he looks more muscled and tougher in GOT. www.imdb.com/name/nm0597388/Maybe the new Conan people wanted an actor who is more athletic and less body-builder-looking compared to Arnold?

Looks like it might be funny Wow oh wow oh wow!!!! I saw Kick-Ass today, and I can't say how strongly I loved it! I did hate all the (TOTALLY UNNECESSARY) foul language, but man did I enjoy it, start to finish! I waited until I got it from the Public Library (no charge for it, in theory), rather than seeing it at the big screen or by rental, because I thought I wouldn't like it, but I remembered how Lam and others here liked it, so when I saw it at the Library, I grabbed it. Super Cool movie! I am ready for the Sequel. According to the DVD extras, the writer is planning a total of 3 Kick-Ass stories. This one comprises his first ?8-12 comic book episodes (which I haven't read). The villain, Red Mist, reminds me of the snotty anti-hero in The Incredibles.

Kick-Ass was a great movie. The trailers don't prepare you for how violent and gritty it really is.

New movie coming: Johnny English Reborn
- First Trailer
I'm looking forward to it.
PS, I saw Atkinson on Top Gear the other day, and he has/had the top lap speed of all the celebs! I missed most of the show, but I gathered that Atkinson is a serious driver/car enthusiast.

That's Scarlett Johansson playing "Black Widow". We were introduced to her in Iron Man 2.

I don't recall Black Widow at all, just the other guy in the other iron man suit. Guess I'll have to watch it again (IM 2).
Who's the guy with the high-tech bow?
And I recognize the Hulk, and Nick Fury.
