lol, yeah thats about how I felt when I first started playing. I always try to help out the new people by showing them the jet packs and secret switches, etc now.

I see Woody is missing...as usual...no bloody skirt there! You were lucky Bat ..you met some of the nicer ones first like LC and I... ya i was.i was a bit reluctant 2 kill lam at first. didn't let him go but was hoping that when i did i hadn't TKed or SKed him. but u all were patient. |

Yeah, but honestly, Vin or anyone, has any LP Member ever been nasty, or put you down, or made fun of you in the game? I have made up and used pet names for many of the members and visitors, and it has been well received by them, even influencing their choice of skins, etc. (called Marauder Snakeboy because he was a snake in the grass with his sneakiness and green initial skin, so he switched to a real snakeskin skin, for example!). There is much to the chat and joking that makes the play worthwhile, in my opinion, but just attacking people for the sake of making ourselves feel superior is just ....... stupid. I certainly hope you have never felt or experienced that here!

We're always nice to new people. We make a special effort to demonstrate the many varied ways for them to die over and over again. What more could you want?

I like the fact that I see familiar names on the field. I have been playing here just over a year now and I look forward to spending a little time here every day. |

When I was new to LP, Red, BigDaddy, Dirtyone, and Woody used to spank me alot on the Playground. Just as I got used to it, here comes Lamron catching me on fire and making me wear a clown suit while the rest of the Playground laughed at me...I don't think they liked the way I looked.
No...swell group of guys!!

And after you were a member, I was chasing your ranking forever and ever (and not you, as we never seemed to be on the server at the same time back then), and never getting up to your level, back in the day when the rankings actually worked! |

Yes, I always try to be very nice and helpful to newcomers, and if there are no members playing with me, I will inforce the rules as much as I can because we do get some jerks every once in a while that type kill over and over, swear profusely and/or are just plain rude. And due to the love of playing on Lamron's I would like to keep people like that out of our server.
