Log-in situation

Has anyone messed up logging-in here lately? If you do, you get a message on your second (or 3rd or 4th) try that you have to put in a code to prove you're a human. At first it was one of those graphic images that a human can recognize but a computer has trouble with. Now you have to watch a frigging commercial and read the phrase to put in (Verizon cell phone ads and phrases such as "Avatar goes with you" or "Now on Verizon"). And don't forget to put in your LP pw, too, or you get to do it again.

I occasionally mistype, what with multiple fingers having been broken over the last decade playing basketball, plus I'm not a secretary, and I have to suffer through the indignity of these longer log-ins. But now it's even worse, forcing me to watch a commercial!

Comments, anyone, other than "don't mess up logging-in!" ?

I just logged out and back in with a wrong password to try it, and you're right, that's pretty annoying. I checked, and its part of the forum software I have no control over.

If you're on your own computer, just check the "Keep me logged in" box so you never have to log in again.

If its a shared or work computer, "don't mess up logging-in!"
