I have been slowly dipping my toe into vista a lil at a time testing the waters.. I will need to know it soon as my step son is giving me the laptop in about a month when he leaves for the Marines. What a nice kid.

PS (yes, I'm post whoring here, but I didn't want to dilute out my sincere blushing thanks in the above post)
Heh heh heh! A little, somewhat devilish, thought just hit me......You know the new Macs now can run Windows, right? That means VISTA, too. So, what if, just what if, the Mac actually runs VISTA better and with less fuss than your PC's??? Now wouldn't that be a hoot! It almost makes me want to buy a copy of VISTA just to try. LOL. Oh, the bragging rights that would bring, Yes Yes Yes! LOL! Heh heh heh!

I think vista has the ability to ruin even your beloved MAC Yep. Vista can ruin just about anything- that's why you install Vista on a separate partition so when it falls to pieces, you can still run OS X! You guys are gonna Love this -- A direct quote from PC Magazine regarding a review of Apple's up-coming operating system, OS X 10.5 (Leopard): (From the latest issue, in the section of the 100 greatest products) "Have you found anything that Vista can do that Leopard can't? We haven't." -PC Mag

I may have to buy a Mac and give them another try. I cannot believe I am saying it, let alone seriously considering it, but I am going to start investigating the options available. I will never give up a PC though.

I have not upgraded to Vista and do not plan to due to the stuff I am reading. I actually have no problems at all with XP SP2. But Mac machines are grabbing my interest. If I could have a dual platform machine that performs up to my expectaions, why not?

I agree Vince, I've always loved having options. I probably won't upgrade to a new Mac for myself until I see how MOH Airborne will run on what I have.

Un-be-!@#$-ing-liev-able. Windows Vista.... avoid it at all costs! I just started up the computer this morning and watched in total disbelief as two programs that I have denied the ability to load when Windows starts up, (using MSconfig), load up. This isn't a new operating system, it's a very large colony of bugs with an operating system hidden in it somewhere. Run away! Run away!

Unlike XP, Vista has not asked me if I wish to send an "error report". I wonder why..... Maybe I should be running, (while screaming at the top of my lungs), back to XP.
