And DS, Holy crap on the new keyboard! Is that an in-board or an out-board motor? (I don't ever want to hear you call your wife, "Wifezilla" again, lol) Nice thoughtful gift!
My gift was relatively inexpensive as well, Aigad. I was allowed to "sleep-in" this morning. At the time, that gift was everything I ever wanted. ;D

i got a holiday for 2 days with just the wife, a boat cruise, and went to the titanic museum thats travelling around. it's pretty cool museum, lots of stuff to read and look at. all this and a ferry trip back and forth to Vancouver Island. it was so much fun, when hotdog writes his finall on wednesday, him and i are going back for a few days. also got to see a good friend who pastors the Queen Street Church in Victoria and catch one of his sermons. this is what he gave me so i'll send it to all you dads. God took the strength of a mountain....the majesty of a tree... the warmth of a summer sun...the calm of a quiet sea...the generous soul of nature.. the comforting arm of night...the wisdom of the ages...the power of eagles flight....the joy of a morning in spring....the faith of a mustard seed...the patience of eternity...the depth of a family need. Then God combined these qualities, when there was nothing more to add, he knew his masterpiece was complete, and so he called it...DAD. Happy Fathers Day to all you dads.

Silly... lol if you only knew what I had to go through to get this board.. had to take wife to best buy pick up the board say " this is what I want" then put it in the cart wheel it to the check out.. write the check myself. Then listen to her tell me things like ... I don't know why you want a new keyboard ours is just fine... or good thing you said something I forgot it was fathers day this weekend.. ( keep in mind she works at wal mart) ... or the classic.... guess you don't like the stuff I think of to get you... (ties dress shirts etc.) I'm a jeans and tee shirt kinda guy .,.. i loathe wearing dress clothes. lol
Lost... I already love the board .. fits my had so nicely.. just have to retrain my muscle memory were the keys are now then it will be even sweeter.
Aigad .. use your teeth man.. thats how the real men do it. or wack the edge of the cap on the counter. lol

While I was reading your post, I could easily picture myself in your position. Then, after you had done all of that yourself, putting it into the cart and paying for it..... the entire family says to us, "Happy Father's Day".
Things could be worse though...
The wives could simply say "NO".
Us --> "Bwaaaaha ha! But I really neeeeeed it!"
Wives --> "Okay, okay, stop making a scene or you will get a time-out when we get home."
Us --> Secretly snickering to ourselves because that is what we want anyway. Some time to ourselves.... so we can practice with our new equipment.
We're not as dumb as we make ourselves out to be... ;D

LOL My wife learned long ago. It would just show up at some point anyway if I want it. Also I don't tell her no on things she wants, that way she has no leverage over me when I want something. Ain't marriage grand. Its like covert ops, and your life is at risk at all times,  |
