Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

LOL, I know this title sounds like a porn thing, but it's not--this popped up on youtube as something to watch when I went to look at Rookie's "USA Wins" video.
and.... on the same page, here's video (that looks real) of a ricochet from a 50 cal rifle and iron target, coming back and hitting the shooter:
You can hear the deformed projectile whistling as it comes in and see it hit the ground in front of him before bouncing up and hitting him in the head.

I don't know what's wrong with people who think that its funny to give a new shooter a powerful weapon like that. That's a good way to turn someone off from shooting for good, injure someone, and get your gun dropped on the ground. You need to start a new shooter off with something much lighter and work your way up to their comfort level. Otherwise you're just being a jerk, and giving all gun owners a bad name.

lol at the lady with the desert eagle ... no one told her how to hold it properly to avoid that.
the bmg vid... hmmm.. I suppose that could be possible but very unlikely that a ricochet would come back @ almost 180 degrees down the same trajectory.

LOL, Vinnie!
And Lamron, you are entirely correct. I didn't look at it in a serious fashion, but you are entirely correct.
DS, I shot a pump-up bb gun one time at a flat sheet of thick glass at about 10 yards, and the bb came straight back at me and hit me in the upper eyelid--left a bruise, scared the piss out of me, and embarrassed me ("You'll shoot your eye out!"). So, I believe the video--it just seems way too well done to be a fake, but I would love to have seen his wound, and the projectile (if they found it).

But when a bullet hits metal at high speed it splashes just like trhowing a rock into water. I've had chunks of metal targets come back at me before. That's probably what hit him.

That's why I said "projectile"--I'm not sure what came and hit him, but I do guess it was a large chunk of the bullet and not a piece of the target, but who knows?
