Awesome design. But I can see a couple of issues. How well do they fare in a side-impact crash as opposed to conventional doors? And if the battery dies, how will you get out of the car besides smashing the window? I assume you can open it manually as well. They would look cool on a supercar though, since in a supercar you're not going to care about safety and accessibility anyway, LOL. It's up there with gull wing doors, scissor doors, and Koenigsegg doors.

I like it better than the gull wing doors. As to side impact crashs, I do not know. I suspect the protection could be lessened, especially with the B pillar removed in some autos. I would like to see my Dodge quad cab truck with all four doors converted to one L O N G door on each side.

Two thumbs up for that one. What happens to your interior in the pouring rain, or when there's snow on the edges of your roof when you need to get in or out........ same thing that happens now, but more of it. Interesting though.

I have tried to locate this company... I am starting to feel that they no longer exist. I cannto find anything solid on them other than the plain website I posted here.
When I emailed to the link for "contact" I got a "canned" email reply from them that said they would contact me.
