I can't get on the playground anymore because my pc has been taken out of commision by static electricity, but that was some time ago. I play CoD4 on this laptop, but can't install MOHAA. So I need some help finding the =DVT= server which i've seen a few of you play at. If any of you guys can help me with this, that would be great, it'd be nice seeing you guys again!  |

So how do you find a server by IP? I've tried doing that before, but I can't find out how.

In COD4 you click on join game, then click at the top to cycle through local, internet, and lan games....

Open your console ("~" key) and type:
/connect 8.12.23.66

Is the slash key needed Lamron? I never use it with MOH, COD, COD2, etc.
Volfy, this also works, sometimes faster than going through a 12,000 server list from within the game: in your internet browser, go to serverspy.net, then do a search for the server you want by its name.
And be sure to add the server to your favorites within the game, once you have the ip, that's the best way of all! You know how to do that, right?

The slash is needed. Without it, what you type goes into the chat box and does nothing. MOH doesn't need it because it assumes that if you're typing in the console, you're talking to the game, not to other people.
