Sorry, it does not test or train reaction time, only recognition time; the rest is simply hand-eye coordination. RedRock is correct, the 1-15 counting is not truely a reaction speed test. So here we go!!! Reaction Speed Test: kylan.newgrabs.com/reaction.swfThis is a pretty good test because it averages 5 attempts to lessen the value of a lucky early hit. So far, my best is .178, but I'm sure someone will beat that and I'll have to practice some more...

I can't compete with this one. My best is .204. I'm consistently in the .21-.22 range.
New best: .199 (finally squeaked under .2!)

Very nice site, Lamron, thanks for finding it.
I went there and did it once. Here are my results:
time in secs 0.214 0.218 0.202 0.219 0.191
average: 0.208
According to that website, "That's pretty good."
You guys that are 10% faster than me and des (so far)--cut back on the caffeine, will ya?

From what I've read, most people's reaction time is about .25 sec. Gamers generally have slightly faster than average reaction time. What's arguable is whether playing video games actually improves your reaction time, or are people with above average reactions naturally better at video games and more likely to play them?

(edit: Beat my previously posted time by .001 sec, but still not enough to compete with the Dictator and BD)
