PS, can we somehow get a different sound for the main fire of the pulse weapon--not a firearms crack/pow but rather a technofuturistic firing sound? DS, Red is talking about the SMG side I'm sure . And How about the sound file the MP-5 had . That was sorta futuristic , And I liked that one ...had a great sound !

It has an SMG on it? Im shocked... lmao Just kidding... poor Lam.. the poor man is trying to get another project done.. fight with his ISP, and get a few hours of work in here and there.. (no time for sleeping.. there is now rest for the wicked.)

I hear a pooooooooonnnnnkkk hissssss booom when I fire it Red .. what are you hearing? That's similar to what I hear for the secondary fire (the grenade/rocket)--like a mortar launch. For the primary fire (the "pulse") I hear a sharp, quick, high-pitched "crack" like a 22 rifle. I expect, if it's futuristic, more of a short, electrical, charged, sci-fi sound.

P.S. Still freezing up when you die while loading rockets in the PR, but now you can jump while standing there. lol

I think I've solved the reloading/death animation problem. I also slightly sped up the Pulse Rifle secondary fire reload.

Don't know if we are talking about the same bug or not..
what I noticed...... If you die while using the pulse rifle you die standing up.. other players that died using it also appear to be standing.. I think I shot my fair share of corpses yesterday... LOL

I thought that worked well though. Aigad was jumping up and down, (while dead) and getting everyone to use up all their nades shooting at, nothing.
Man those bugs can be funny to see sometimes!

DS and I were discussing the vests a day or so ago and he brought up a good point regarding the Bullet Proof Vests that I thought made perfect sense.
What does everyone feel about having the Vest-wearers getting slowed down to the 50 cal run-speed? It can be a heavy item and can certainly restrict some mobility, right, or not? Now a person would need to decide if they were willing to give up speed for protection.
I also was thinking about the machete and how slow I run with that weapon. Shouldn't that run-speed be upped to about the same as a smg?
Just some more suggestions to kick around.

Any one that served in the military knows what a B!@$h Flak Vest PT is. Man that stuff will about killya. very good Idea.

Runspeed is set to a particular weapon, not to the individual player. So I could adjust the speed for the one weapon the player was holding when he picked up the BPVest, but not all of them. It wouldn't take long for people to figure out to switch to pistols, pick up the vest (and speed penalty), then switch back to primary.
What I am going to do is ask AIGAD to brighten the vest so that you can tell at a distance who has them, and we've been working on a new weapon that will defeat the vest.
You're right about the machete speed. I'm going to increase that to knife speed.
