Alright!!! Great idea, Lamron! Hey, gang, let's submit all of our server ideas here, rather than e-mailing them to Lamron (unless he would prefer otherwise). That way he won't be bombarded with e-mails, and he can see what other members have to say about any suggestions others make. Now we can also keep in touch with each other a little better, since we all are rarely on TS at the same time.

One little suggestion... How about a link to get back to the main website from the forums? If this is possible now without using the 'back' button, I haven't figured it out...

1) Now that we're in daylight savings time, if you members need to alter your time setting on the forum to correct your displayed local time, go to the "Profile" button at the top of the page after you've logged in and change your setting (follow directions)--you do need to give your password on that screen to make/save any changes.
I think the server itself is on Eastern time but is in an area of the country that doesn't observe Daylight savings time, so you might need a change, unless you're in Central time.
2) Is anyone using the private message function of the forums? Used to be when we signed on, we got a message at the top of the screen, "Hello Whatsurname, you have X new messages, you have Y old messages." When the forum page was recently remodeled, this was smartly moved to the Info Center box at the bottom of the screen under the Forum Statistics. I wish it had a way of notifying us by sound of a new incoming message (like many IM applications do), as I forget to look at the box. I think, if I see other members online at the forum when I am on, I will start logging into my IM appliction (AIM or iChat) for that duration in case other members want to send or receive IM's then to/from me. Member IM screen names can be found by clicking the Members button at the top of the screen, along with email addresses, if members have set such things--these can be set by the Profile screen, too.
As usual, with all my posts, its FWIW, and that and $1.19 plus tax gets you a 20 oz. Diet Mt. Dew (Lamron's favorite, I hear, as he is trying to get winning caps for the iTunes promotion so he can download free songs to his new Mac he didn't deny he is buying). ;D

if you members need to alter your time setting on the forum to correct your displayed local time hmmm, interesting, the server doesn't display my current time on my postings until I sign on, so I guess it doesn't really matter if they look correct to me, no one else is gonna see them listed with the local time I really composed them at. So, Never Mind.
