OK, call me stupid...
How do I get the avatar to work?
This may be a frequent question...how about posting instructions in the FAQ (HELP) section. I don't think I'm the only computer ignorant, techno-dolt...

Click the profile section near the top of the page. Find the personal picture section on the profile page and select a picture from the list, or you can use your own picture as long as its hosted someplace else. In that case put the http: address of the picture in the box. If you don't have anywhere on the web to host pictures (there are several free places), send them to me and I will host them.

Aaaahhhh...
I was trying to attach a pic saved on my PC (this works on another forum I frequent). I'll just have to go searching for a new one!

If you want to use a picture you have on your computer, here is a free picture hosting company a friend recommended. imageshack.us/index3.phpYou should be able to use it to host avatars and other pictures you want to post. |

Desmo2, your avatar isn't working because you are trying to link off another site. They have linking blocked to prevent people from stealing bandwith. Find the picture you want and save it to your computer. Then upload it back to the hosting site in the above link.

Ok got a issue my avitar is in a gif format but the gif does not run what can be done

It's working when I looked Frozen It does take a minute to start but I see the guy running and get shot Its a pretty cool avatar too !!!  |

must be some setting in my browser doesnt let it play for me but glad it works and you all like it was first attempt going to try and make some others in the future Ps Yes it was Jinx she was nice enough to take lots of time to pose in running forms for me  |

If anybody's avatar looks kind of distorted, remember that avatars are always square. So you get best results if you crop your pic to equal width and height.
