I've added a new page to the main website: Player Map
All players are encouraged to add yourself to the map! I think it will be interesting to see where all our players are scattered over the world. Don't worry, its only zip code specific, so you won't get any suprise visits in the night!
You can get to it by either the main website button, or click the icon at the bottom of the main Forum page.

Try switching it to satellite view or hybrid (satellite with streetnames) and see if you can find your house.

Found my house, but couldn't move my tag directly to it. Not that I'd want to. If I did that I'd have a bunch of LP stalkers staring at me from my neighbors' bushes...

Shootsy, can you go to the map and see the USA with the little balloons pointing to people? At the top of that map in the right hand corner you'll see buttons you can click: MAP SATELLITE HYBRID
You're on MAP to start with (you'll see MAP in bold on that button). Click on SATELLITE instead and it will switch to a satellite image (green trees and hills of Tennessee, yucky brown plains of Texas, flaming pink California coast, etc.). Then, in the upper left hand corner of the map/satellite view, you'll see the navigation buttons and scale/zoom enlarger/decreaser for the display. The 4 arrow keys move the map/image one screen at a time in the direction shown; the central button between the 4 arrows takes you back to the "home" map/image, the one of the USA. Don't enlarge too much until you're sure of a landmark showing, because each time it zooms, it centers the view probably away from where you want to go, and if you scroll very much instead of just moving one screen over at a time, you can't see the navigation/zoom buttons to use. If you use HYBRID instead, you can see the trees and houses and lakes, but you also get the roads overlays to help. Then, once you find your place, click on Satellite to take away the roads overlay.
I found my house by first zooming in on my state, then my part of the state, then found the interstate highway, then went down on high zoom and buttoned over and down, etc. along the interstate until I found my exit, then out the main road I use to my place the same way. I can go all the way down on zoom and see my place. Cool.
Unforturnately for you, Shootsy, they don't have satellite imagery on your place all the way down on the zoom to show your house--I checked it--the best they have for you is the 4th highest zoom level, and to me it just shows greenery and major roads at that degree of resolution.
But that's how you use it if you want to see other houses, etc. in other areas.
And note that Popeye and Monk are on the map, now, but you have to scroll across the great pond to see them, and they live so close together, the lowest zooms just show one balloon pointer.
Lamron, isn't this that google map thingy you have to pay to use?

Red thank you for your help.It seemed the problem was not what I was doing but just that it was not working. When I went there the map was not showing. Now when I go there the map shows. And you are right you cannot zoom in very far where I live. The reason for that is the they don't wont you to know about whats going on here where I live so they make it so you cant see any thing in great detail.Whats up with that!!! I wonder what they are hiding!!!!lol. Sir Shootsalot Red if you put a big red R on top of your roof we can find your house.......lol.

Any place that has important military installations is blocked from zooming in too close.

Any place that has important military installations is blocked from zooming in too close. Thats not exactly true . I live 5 mins from the Norfolk Naval Base . If you move just left of my balloon, You can see about 5 Naval ships and at least 2 subs docked at the piers . and by the way , my balloon misses my house by less then a half a mile . EDIT : about 19 ships , 4 Subs , and 2 Carriers !!
