Private Message Notification.

If you haven't already done it, I recommend you set your PMs to notify you of new messages. They're easy to miss otherwise.
Go to the bottom of the main page and find:
"Your Private Messages: 1 New: 0"
Click on one of the numbers to open the PM area.
Select "Preferences"
You can pick either E-Mail or a Pop-up notification when you enter the forums. Since I'm here frequently anyway, I chose Pop-ups.
