To all you veterans out there at home and abroad I would like to say Thank You from BigDaddy's House. Thank you for what you guys did and are still doing to this day. If not for brave soldier like you most of us might not be here today and if we are might be speaking another language other than what we speak now. So again I would like to say thank you and I am truly honored for people like yourselves.
Thank You Sincerely Ethan Gibson and Family

did you know veteran's day is really Armistice Day! it was this day that WORLD WAR 1" the war to end all wars" ended. on the 11th hour of the11th day of the 11 month in 1918 that the armistice was signed as the allies wanted it. and there are only 12 living ww1 vets living at an age of 108 years old. but today serves better as veteran's day to honor all veterans .... M:-)

We observed yesterday in the Great White North as Remembrance day, but whatever one calls it, the message is the same.
I took my kids to their first ceremonies and was happy to answer their numerous questions.
Question: We wear poppies in the Commonwealth for Remembrance day ( Flanders fields). Are they worn in the US or do you have a different way?
