thought with all the an acronyms(not computer shorthand lol) used today and in the past .might be interesting to see if people actually know what they stand for since we cant use profanity here FUBAR and SNAFU would have to use the cleaned up version LOL ..here is the only perfect one if ever there was one

This is an interesting thread. I'm racking my brains for everyday acronyms that we all use as if they were original words and that I bet our kids probably don't know their origins. I can think of SCUBA and LASER, but I will try to come up with others, and I'd love for everyone else to keep trying, too.
