Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

There's a lot that happens before Typhon Pact, though, with the end of the Borg, Janeway finally giving up the ghost (Yaaaaaay!!!!!), and the UFP getting slipstream drive. Plus even before that, there are a bunch of standalone story collections about DS9, for example, Twist of Faith and These Haunted Seas.

The holographic doctor and Neelix, the sunfish (--he's brightly colored and his head and hair always were kind of elongated in the front to back direction and flattened in the right to left direction, so he reminds me of a sunfish) were my favorite characters in Voyager. Janeway, Chakotay, Paris, B'elana, Harry, etc.......just boring, or worse, characters.

ya know, after thinking about that, he does remind me of a Sunfish...with Orangutan hair lol
The first season the characters seem a little plain to me, but they seem to take shape a bit more in season 2
I've put Voyager on hold in the middle of season 2 for the time being so's I could reminisce with my beloved Buck Rodgers I've missed for so long....
For the past two days I've been trying to remember if my Buck Rodgers fighter "My first glue model I believe" is still in one piece in a box someplace.

I never watched any Buck Rogers, except for the one movie with that cutie Erin Grey (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077278/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2). Incidentally, if you haven't watched The Guild series on-line, you've missed a clever and funny MMORPG-"WOW kind of people" series, and Erin Grey plays a fictional (aging) sci-fi series star showing up at Sci-Fi and Gaming cons (in the last 2 seasons or so). She's not as good-looking as she was back then, but it's still nice to see her in the series. www.imdb.com/media/rm1819777024/nm0001292www.imdb.com/name/nm0001292/?ref_=tt_cl_t3

At the time when the series aired I was too young to realize that the entire series is hot women in skimpy clothes so you may like the rest of the episodes

Interesting, I just got to Voyager 4x16 and the lead Hirogen in the episode, I picked his voice out immediately since I'd just watched all the DS9 episodes.
The lead Hirogen also played the adult Jake Sisko "Tony Todd" In the episode "The Visitor" That was the episode Jake grew older and his father was zapped and showing up briefly over the period of Jakes life before he off'ed himself to reset the timeline.
I just thought it interesting playing those particular two parts with all the Hirogen makeup I mean.
Make you wonder with Typhon Pact and the next cast of the next Star Trek Series will be playing on it...I mean someone has to be working on another series somewhere I'd think.
You mentioned the slipstream drive, what is that exactly, not sure I recall it mentioned in any other ST episode being talked about.

It was the FTL method that was in the series Andromeda. It's also a Star Trek method/term: I'm a little rusty on the particular book about it, I think it's with the end of the borg story, the Destiny trilogy (published 2008), but it's basically transwarp ultra-high speed travel. You're going to encounter it in 3 episdoes of ST:Voyager. Read just the blurbs I put below, to avoid any spoilers for you, until you've seen the eps: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slipstream_%28science_fiction%29

HOLY CRAP!!! Voyager 6x15 ...THAT's The Rock! Dwayne Johnson He did that eye twitch thing. Had he not done that, I'm not sure I'd recognize him. Also General Martok Klingon plays a Hirogen. I recognized voice and Weyoun the dominion clone slave is in it. I recognized voice just to be sure, i looked it up.... wow www.imdb.com/title/tt0708999/Fascinating, makeup is just incredible when you pick out voices from multiple characters. I can't find a definitive link, but I KNOW I read and heard just about 2 months ago of the death of Hertzler. Oh, and he has credits listed on an upcoming 2014 made for TV Star Trek movie: www.imdb.com/title/tt2621446/And Jeffrey Coombs has had roles in ST:Enterprise, DS9, and Voyager, maybe more. He's a really good actor.

I knew it...they are planning something for TV lol
Interesting stuff you posted.
I just reached Voyager 7x08 and discovered The Shepherd from Firefly playing a character. Didn't realize he played in multiple scifi shows.
