If your not up to speed on Marvel Agents of Shield, they introduced Deathlok Teusday night. It caught me by surprise as I didn't think in a million years they'd ever use that character in a TV show. Deathlok was one of my favorites to read. He doesn't quite look like this yet, but they did mangle his face in an explosion and has a cybernetic leg. He's version 1 as far as I can tell, they changed his name to Mike Peterson & is now listed in the wiki under television en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deathlok Season 3 starts real soon. I enjoyed S1 and S2.

RE: Agents of Shield
Doh! Recorded ep 1 this evening. Have to record ep 2 soon. Using Comcast On-Demand to record most of my shows now, rather than at the time it comes on "live." I can't think of the last time I watched a tv show at the time it was airing. I hate the commercials.

I watched it last night a liked it. The Evil Dead movies had a particular style to them and the TV show stays true to it. Fortunately, they have Sam Raimi (the original creator) and Bruce Campbell making it. I couldn't have been done without the two of them.

New Netflix series "Jessica Jones" note excerpt from wiki Jones, no longer a superhero, opened a private detective agency. Given her background, she was sought out by clients with superhero connections. Despite her wish to leave the superhero life, she found herself repeatedly drawn back into it. Longtime friend Carol Danvers set Jones up with Scott Lang (the second Ant-Man), and the two dated for several months. She also had an off-and-on affair with Luke Cage. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessica_JonesCarol Danvers AKA Ms. Marvel ...fyi before Rouge was an X-Man she was tricked into holding on to Ms Marvel for so long she permanently absorbed her powers. This is why in the comics Rouge can fly. The X-Men movies didn't take that road... or take that road yet. Luke Cage AKA Power Man... if you're watching Ultimate Spider-Man you'll know who he is, or maybe you already do idk The Netflix Daredevil series was good if you haven't seen it. I watched Jessica Jones and really liked it. I don't know her backstory at all, but she's part of the Marvel's Hells Kitchen/Daredevil stuff, I take it. And Daredevil Season 2 is in the making, a NetFlix original too. I really really liked Season 1. The episode with Kingpin explaining why he stares at a blank wall and how he came to be, well, it was sooooo artistic and enjoyable. And Season 2 will add Elektra and The Punisher. I only know Elektra from Jennifer Garner's movie, but this one will be different, and I don't know The Punisher at all, but a lot of you like him, I'm told. So here's the news announcement about it--it's worth reading, IMHO. www.ew.com/article/2015/12/28/daredevil-season-2-punisher

Yes I've been waiting for that, and I caught that Hell's kitchen reference in that one episode.

I loved the first season of Ash vs. Evil Dead. A perfect mix of gross, terrifying, and hilarious.

aawww maaan, just when Ash's dad and him made up lol I was actually supprised to see him again, I've not seen him since he played in The Fall Guy.
His car looks pretty cool when it's possessed though.
This season seems to have a new level of sick and twisted haha

I don't get Starz, as far as I know, so I haven't seen any of these. I'll look for this on NetFlix and Amazon Prime.
I just finished watching Burn Notice; I had quit halfway through the next to last season. But I went ahead and watched until the end. I really enjoyed the final episode, as they clearly went back to season 1, episode 1 to get characters' favorite lines and to throw in some of Mike's covert ops tips (for example, you can never have too much duct tape). I know because I went back and watched S1, E1 after watching the finale.
I've been watching Luther on NetFlix. I've decided it's a Brit version of Burn Notice, with a cop instead of an ex-spy, as Luther is a well-intentioned do-gooder who is troubled by his past and his friends/enemies/cases and who isn't afraid to bend the law and ethics (and frequently has to), as he solves his cases. And he keeps getting new "clients" to help out/deal with along the way, regular people needing help or somehow people he encounters in his main police cases, just as Mike and his friends do, and he keeps gaining new friends/helpers (builds a "team") that assist him (for example, a crazy female lover-wanna-be who kills a bad guy and takes the fall for his involvment in it, and his ex-wife's lover who provides a safe house when Luther needs it, etc.) and to whom he is loyal to and helps them out. The first season is a little slow, until you figure this out, but the second season is better written. Idris Elba plays Luther, and he's considered to be among a short list of people to be the next James Bond. He also played Stringer Bell in HBO's The Wire, and the bad guy in the latest Star Trek movie.
