I've been having trouble finding a good source for the files for The Mandalorian. Mainly just seeing webrips. I'm sure a good quality source will eventually be available, so I'm waiting for that before I start watching it.

I've been watching. I like it. It's different, has a sort of slow, mellow pacing to it. The main mando character's voice and delivery remind me of Clint Eastwood. You know that actor is the one that had his head squished by The Mountain in Game of Thrones, right? The music is different, too, sort of....jazz mixed with Ewok celebration mixed with heavy bass/drums....I don't know, best I can do to describe, but I like it. Each episode, however, has a major plot problem or writing fault, but I'm just ignoring that in order to enjoy it. And obviously, The Child is delightful, adds a ton of humor. I won't say more, because Lamron isn't yet watching. I already had Hulu service, in order to watch several fun series, so I added Disney+ for another $6 (I think) a month to get it too. I have CBS All Access, too, in order to watch the new Star Trek series (Discovery, and season 3 is due soon; and Picard starts Jan 23, I think). With Amazon Prime, Acorn, HBO Now, and Starz subscriptions, I soon won't need regular Cable TV at all. And I hate to look at what my actual costs for it all are!
Oh, also, I'm both pleased and bothered by the fact that the Mando gets his butt kicked regularly. He's not the super can't-be-beat kinda guy I expected before I started watching, he's just an up and coming bounty hunter/fighter, it seems.

Is there a list someplace of what tv stations and stream programs program played on what date? A log of some type? WHO dictates the schedule of what movies are played when?
I'm curious bc I find it odd that with whats in OUR news, BBC plays movie HITMAN last few days? I hate sounding weird like that, but it seems backwards somehow idk, maybe I'm just seeing something that isn't there and my brain is stuck in overthink'in it mode

For most USA shows, you can check on imdb.com and see when they were first aired/released. I don't know about streaming services. I've noticed that with old tv shows that now show on NetFlix, for example, they list the year the show was shown on tv, or sometimes, the first year the series was shown on tv, for all episodes/seasons they stream, even if there are multiple year seasons.
I don't think the Brits pick out a movie to show on BBC just to piss off Americans, who really aren't watching BBC, if I understand your thread. There is a BBC-America channel, but they tend just to show the better Brit series, just months or a year later than shown in the UK. Interesting question, though. You could probably just google for the original release or air date of a specific show, if that is your intent, rather than looking for a Wikipedia-like gargantuan entry of all release and air dates.

I understand your reply, but I was more referring to replays of things... I'll give an example of why I was thinking what I was. When hitman played on bbc that night, 1 to 2 days before that, shootings from a nutjob happened. I'm thinking "That's wierd, like your better off with your banning stuff, we just don't hear YOUR news" OUR news doesn't hesitate to make everyone aware a shooting happened. I'm ALMOST convinced it's coincidence BUT... I'm fairly confident I detect a Hollywood split or power struggle if you will.
I watch alot of tv shows, but also comedy stuff, and ran across Dave Chapels last special, Heard the name before, but never knew who he was...but he's right, everybody's too uptight about stuff.... and a whole lot of things started falling into place in my brain with all the cramming the NARATIVE down our throats garbage the last few years. It just seems there is a political grab for all the new ways to snatch people up to watch entertainment of a CERTAIN type. Haven't herd a peep from Robert De Niro since 2018... Is he old and crazy or does he see what's going on now in the current administration? There's a reason Seinfeld stopped doing college campus shows years back.
It used to take a few years to propose a TVshow/movie, find cast members, film it, do special effects and whatnot, Now it seems it takes ALOT less time because of the politics shoved into certain things.
I know it's odd sounding, but it just seems fishy with what plays vs current events...so to speak.
