hmmm Luther sounds interesting. Be sure to check out the new MacGyver on Fridays. I think it's pretty good and it follows alot of same elements but off somewhat. They did keep the explosion in opening credits which I thought was neat. {Click here for Ash vs Evil Dead Spoiler}SHAME SHAME, NO CLICKY! haha

RE: Iron Fist Green Arrow backstory meets Crouching Tiger. And isn't that the nurse from Hells Kitchen from DareDevil?

And isn't that the nurse from Hells Kitchen from DareDevil? Yes, nurse Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) ties the four shows together: DareDevil Jessica Jones Luke Cage Iron Fist These storylines all happen at the same time in the same city. After all of the introduction series are done, they come together to form "The Defenders". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Defenders_(miniseries)

Ah. That makes sense. Didn't know about the Defenders. Really liked DD and JJ, though. Haven't watched LC yet. Should I watch it before I watch IF?

Things will make more sense if you watch them in the order released. Luke Cage happens right after the events of Jessica Jones and gives a lot of the backstory between him and his wife. It will also help you follow Claire Temple as she meets and interacts with each of the series stars.
Having said that, I didn't enjoy Luke Cage as much as I did Jessica Jones. I thought JJ was fascinating and horrifying.

I found DD hard to get into myself. I may try to watch it again if nothing more than to get the back story.

I found DD hard to get into myself. I may try to watch it again if nothing more than to get the back story. There is one episode that is just perfection in terms of art. It opens and closes with Kingpin (I think that's the villain) staring at a white picture or wall, and it explains what it's all about. I thought the actor and writer should have gotten some of those Hollywood-loves-itself awards for that episode! I don't like DD's lawyer friend, but I did like DD's character development in this version of DD.

And, there's a new tv series coming, "The Orville," a star trek like spoof series, more akin to Galaxy Quest. Also looks good.

I've been watching the Orville, it's pretty funny.
This however is one of the coolest trailers I've seen in awhile. The Metallica really does it good

I like The Orville. And I've been watching ST:Discovery via my FireTV, and I like it. It's less PC than I expected. They have a lot to explain, though, because their technology and stories (Klingon interaction and wars) were just not really covered in the other series, and it seems to me that what Discovery is showing doesn't jibe well with what StarFleet knew or told its officers at the Kirk era. This is 10 years pre Kirk, I think.

It's more pc than you think. Wait till you see towards end of episode 9, I think I might be done with it, as I don't believe I can share this with my son....it's way too much!

You mean with the blue guy and pheromones and bisexual stuff? Yeah, agree, not for kids. And I didn't like it and lost respect for the captain and the show. However, as it was presented, even for the ex-wife, it basically was rape, due to the irreversible pheromones action. I wish they had gone into that. On ST: Entrrprise, there was one ep with vulcans telepathically mind-raping, and that was clearly shown as bad.
