bought moh vanguard yesterday for ps2... its ok.. have not played any missions yet just multiplayer.. limited maps and weapon choices.. its kina a flop for ps2. eagerly awaiting airborne for the PC

The graphics on this game are going to be unbelievable. Unfortunally, I need to seriously upgrade my hardware before I will be worthy to even look at the game art on the box it comes in.

Those are "recommended" cpu, etc. specs, but the "minimum" system info is usually much less than that, so we'll all have to wait and see. It looks really cool, but I might have to get something new myself. My processor is only 2.1 GHz, though its running Mac software which I think is leaner than Windows stuff, and my graphics card is the Radeon 600 or something like that; I run COD2 with no problems at all on high settings, so maybe I'll be ok. But as usual, I'll have to wait months and months for a Mac version to be released, unless I go over to the dark side.

I might need a new vid card. I have a 256mb ATI X700 Pro. Either way, I WILL play this game lol. I just bought pacific assault for $10, but like I've heard...its not that great. I don't care for the interface or the fact that you have a team with you...and for some reason, my control and alt keys don't work with the game...(?)
I played researched Vangaurd on the Wii at work and wasn't that impressed either. But then again, I prefer PC over console. We'll see if MOH:Airborne makes up for the flops. Hopefully, it has a few stealthy type missions. I liked Allied Assault the best because you could sneak up and get a few headshots off before they noticed you.

Looks like an excuse to upgrade  My home built PC is now 6 years old. It has dual AMD 1.6 processors, 1GB ram, 256K ATI Radeon 9800 w/256MB, SB Audigy Platinum vid card, & 60& 40 GB drives. I may have to build a new monster |

Well I think anything lower than a X800 will be out. In fact if Airborne uses Shader 3, which Unreal 3 engine supports, I'll be even left out with that. Have to wait and see. I don't have so much a problem upgrading .... so I can get dual cards (drool), since every PC I have built was to play MoH for the most part. However, in light of the potential ranked/unranked server nonsense I will not support this title. However, if Lamron offers a modded unranked one I may just have to bite.
All this quadcore/DX 10 cards are pushing the prices down on the stuff I would be looking at anyway. I don't feel Airborne will support DX10 out of the box ... but may in the future with a patch, but I have no desire to use Vista right now.
