trick I learned IDA ... if you quick reply... after its posted click the modify icon above your post and run the spell check there.

crap..no spell check in quick post...I should have said My not Mu. Darn these fat fingers....Where is my dialing wand? Try www.iespell.com/That will let you run a spell checker on any text box on a page. Works great for quick reply boxes. That's the feature I miss most when using FireFox. You can also go back and edit your own post instead of posting a new reply correcting your previous response. Unless you're a post whore who really thinks he has a chance of catching up with RedRock! ;D |

I just won a 3.0 GHz Pent processor on EBAY, so that will get me fast enough (using 1.7 now). I should have enough memory, just need to find a cheap, awesome graphics card. |

Sorry for my rant on this subject. Well games like BF2 and BF2142 have a system where people earn virtual military ranks, virtual medals. and virtual ribbons. These people are affectionately referred to as "stat whores". Simply meaning, they are looking out for themselves and do whatever it takes to improve their overall stat ranking, team work be damned.
Now it looks like Airborne will be providing some kind of similar ranked/unranked server setup for Airborne. Ranked servers offer the "out of the box experience" and cannot be changed in anyway. In fact, only certain server providers can host these ranked servers and the person renting the server has no control (meaning you have to send in a support ticket just to restart the damn server).
Non-ranked servers is anything goes. However, traffic is reduced to nil on these servers traditionally because people playing are interested only in "ranking up" and you cannot gain rank on a non-ranked server.
I think I'll end up sticking to SH/BT. It will cost a lot less than upgrading my PC just to play Airborne.
