My copy of MOH Airborne arrived yesterday. I can't wait to install it and see what it is like.

I am unsure that I like the Airborne edition... very different gameplay. I know I hate the crosshairs.

I know what you mean, Vin. I stood there in Best Buy for 10 minutes, looking over the new game and trying to justify buying it. The only reason I even considered buying it was because of all the hype. I tried out the free demo but did not really enjoy playing it as much as the original MOH games. Common sense got the better of me & I went home to play Spearhead  |

LOL I bought the MOHAA war chest pack at Staples last year on clearance for 9.95. I have never gotten so much entertainment and enjoyment for that price before.
I do not think I want to wait untill the game is 4 years old this time before I buy it.
But will have to wait untill I upgrade my vid card again.

well I played online today. It tires you out. There are sooooooooooooooo many improvements to the maps. It seems lifelike. I found myself looking more at the maps than at the other players or the game action. The scale is much more true to life as well. Distances are far more realistic. I am simply amazed at the visual aspects of the game, but still prefer Spearhead. Perhaps that will change over time with more play. I am also finding it difficult to find Americans to play the game with.

Difficulty so far trying to put Windows on my MacIntel--can't get the hd to partition yet--so I can try the demo. I will try next weekend, when I am off.
Will I be able to play on-line with just the demo?

I cant swear to it Red, but the way I understand it the demo is just one map of the game. No multiplayer function.

Man, I don't know! I just played the COD4 demo, and although it is a completely new setting, it looks and feels better than Airborne!
