"Vinsanity, stay on track, you were doing so good! But you've let RedRock provoke you into stepping out of the "Arena Of Ideas" and you're just going to end up frustrated because you still believe your position is correct but are unable to persuasively articulate it. You need to logically challenge the premise to be successful. Since you ARE right about adulthood/voting age equaling the military age, allow me to take up the banner for a moment...."
It is not an inability to "persuasively argue" my position that troubles me. It is rather the lack of respect for opposing views that I find troubling. I do respect other points of view irregardless of my agreeing with them or not. As an American I feel that is an essential trait to display. I do not feel the need to write a novel to express general concepts/opinions but perhaps I should do so.
"I submit that if we ever decide that a certain segment of this population is "adult enough" to fight/kill/die for his country (responsibility), but at the same time is not "adult enough" to have a vote (authority), then we have lost some of what makes us free."
Very well put. I agree.

D I C T I O N A R Y... and I am not confused, I just believe differently than you. And there is no act. The "dictionairy" misspelling was a gambit, as was the usage of "tiring," to see if I'd finally get an answer of substance (as Lamron did) or just a continuation of the rope-a-dope--ducking and dodging while putting on a cocky face but responding only with sound-bites. Well, I got my answer, but that's fine, because the tiring has now become tiresome. You say you were just trying to evoke a particular response. but I do not know that I believe it. You frequently resort to insulting comments when you are opposed. I believe you will receive more entertaining and enjoyable discussions from everyone if you would be a little less arrogant/attacking in your posts. This is not an attack on you, just an observation. I really enjoy our discussions here but I personally do not always appreciate the attacks. I have no problem with you as I certainly am not offended by you (or anyone else.) I enjoy both playing the game and discussing points of view with you. Just my two cents.

Exactly why Politics and Religion should not be discussed..This is suppose to be a fun gaming environment..Not a pissing match to see who is right and who is wrong..Who cares..Play the game and have some fun....

Beer...
I can see were you might feel that way. Unfortunately not all of us are fit to server. I tried all 4 branches of the military for enlistment when I was 18. They would not let me join because of my ankle that I fractured in a car accident. I have a total of 6 screws and and one 4 inch metal plate holding my left ankle together. I am able to get around just fine with only a slight limp once in a while. I was very disappointed that they would not let me join to serve in any capacity. I now server others the best I can as a nurse. I know it is not a military profession. I would still gladly join up if I could, but the recruiter still says they can not accept me in even as a nurse.
Thank you for serving our great nation and helping to preserve the rights of all us that were/are not able to join the fight.

I've come to the same point, Widow. Friendly debate is fine, but is nearly impossible with those topics. Let's move on, shall we?

I've come to the same point, Widow. Friendly debate is fine, but is nearly impossible with those topics. Let's move on, shall we? I agree, however I wish to add to those statements. "Friendly debate is fine...", but also perpetual regarding the two issues Politics and Religion. No one has all of the information and so no one has all of the definite answers. Here is another idea that just popped into the ole cranium. While debating, it may not be necessary to win the debate at that very instance. The important thing is that we are able to plant a new seed or new idea in the minds of others. If we present this new seed showing earnest intentions and with respect for other's beliefs, without mud-slinging and name calling, others just may be more receptive and open up to more suggestions. I am just guessing here, but looking at the main titles of the forums that Lamron and original-company created, these forums seem to be intended to facilitate the exchange of ideas regarding MOH, discussing hobbies and to help us get to know each other a little better. Online-gaming is just another way of "escape" for most of us. We are trying to relax our minds by having some fun. Taking a break from the troubles and pressures of the world is a must for everyone from time to time. (Now I am getting closer to that other thread/issue regarding the disease that comes from "too much online-gaming". That is a case of people wanting to totally forget about all of their problems and ignore the rest of the world completely.) that's just my opinion... ;D

ohh well in that case I should deduct the barrel length from the score I don't want to cheat. In that case my score was only 2.567 feet. You know the longer the hose the lesser the pressure at the out put. Guess I will have to live with it. ;D
