If I were to use a home page, it would probably be this one or the main Playground one.
I have used the "blank" start page for as long as I can remember and I only pull that up when I do a web search.
I have all of my usual visited web sites in my favorites folder so I click on start, slide on up to favorites, slide on over to which site I want to visit and click.

i like my i.e. sympatico web page, i read the news links, local weather, etc. yours is ok but i like the other stuff on it. ( news, money markets, weather, etc.)

I like the weather there too I would suggest a link www.weatherbug.com for the home page if Lam wants too.. you can see your local weather, radar temp etc. there you don't have to DL weather bug if you do not want too. Might I also suggest a link to www.foxnews.com for those that wish to catch up on the news on line. thanks again for all the hard work Lam.. |

I wouuld like to be able to see what map is being played on the alternative homepage. I have gotten used to seeing that on the LP site.

Thanks for the suggestions. I added a few more things. MYSPACE and FOXNEWS links, current map picture, and weather report. I thought that having to type in your city name every time you came to the page would be too inconvenient. But I finally found one that would automatically use your I.P. address to determine where you are and give you the local report (U.S. only). Click on it for detailed forcasts, or to change the city.

When I tested the my space link.. I got the redirect page stating it could not be found.. it reported that I was trying to connect to www.myspace/ missing the .com , fox news link works but taking for ever to load. More than likely just heavy traffic on their site at the moment. The weather links works like a charm .. thanks Red ... the map pic works for me and still have server status with players and scores under it.. |

The LP map being played, though.....is it supposed to return the number and name of players, though? I see only the tiny image of the map. I am getting the same thing as Red. |

I fixed the typo in the MYSPACE link, Fox News was just slow this morning. The map picture and player list are displayed as seperate items because ServerSpy.net didn't have a template that fit. Sometimes ServerSpy is slow or unavailable, but usually its only briefly. You should be able to refresh the page after a minute or two and see everything.
A_ROOKIE: you can have more than one Homepage. You would just have His and Her's desktop shortcuts for your internet browser, and each would start up on that person's prefered Homepage. What browser are you using? I can show you how to set up the shortcuts.
