Never ask what kind of computer a person uses--if it's a Mac, he'll say; if not, why embarrass him?

I cleverly hid the speed test behind a link that's labeled "Internet Speed Test". That way only special people can find it. Hmmmmmm........ Need a "We Todd It" button there?

Your internet connection must be two coffee cans connected by a string. ;D Here's what I'm getting: Download Speed: 14656 kbps Upload Speed: 1942 kbps Mine is 2 thimbles and a 3 lb test fishing line. Download Speed: 889 kbps (111.1 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 307 kbps (38.4 KB/sec transfer rate) The cave men I had dropped over dead from heart attacks from all the log beating. So I had to improvise.

I just recently downloaded Google Chrome. It is a new browser made by google. It is very streamlined, fast, and minimalistic. The homepage automatically displays your most frequently visited websites, bookmarks, etc in one very fast loading page. So far I really like it. It has a few bugs, but it is still in Beta so they will be fixed soon. I will most likely still be using firefox, because I am dependent on my extensions. But google is for sure adding extension support to Chrome, and it is going to be programmed in a way that will make porting firefox extensions over to Chrome much easier. I will keep you guys posted when big things happen. Here is the link to find out the inner workings of Chrome. www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/features.html

Does anyone know why the weather thing on the homepage does not work for me anymore? I don't recall changing anything that could have an effect on it. It has always worked without me ever having to touch it, it would even switch cities if I took my laptop somewhere else. For the last few days, it just displays this:

For some reason it can't determine where people are by IP anymore. We'll just have to wait until they fix it.
