I served in the military and I am not offended by the image...or the manner it was used. If they disrespected it in any manner then I would be very upset. If people want to get upset about the removal of the flag then those same people should be griping about the images of the commander in chief being doctored to look like a monkey or satan.I did get upset at the racial comparisons though.....BS not every Jewish person or black person, or woman acts that way. This has gone way off topic also.If they had spoken in any way about that experience in a degrading way or talked bad of the flag then i might be upset ...but the photo itself being altered is in no way degrading to the troops or the flag...so no the image is not bad....reactions to this were very upsetting to me.

Some points of view and opinions deserve no respect. Period. And if you can't stand the heat......

More truthful than blaming whole races for a few peoples actions.

LOL
For "once" I am correct? Ahhh, Luke, your thoughts betray you.
But thanks for being all fair and tolerant and appreciating the diversity between us. I feel all warm and accepted.
Good to see you can read, though. I was beginning to wonder.

All are generalizations, even the Conservatives one, and all are obviously incorrect, and surely you didn't think even for a second that I believe them. But you wanted to. Shame on you.

Exactly. That's why I don't tolerate some situations and opinions. It just won't change anything, no matter the truth or the logic.

Some points of view and opinions deserve no respect. Period. And if you can't stand the heat...... It is not an issue of heat in the kitchen but intolerance of others and their opinions that I find lackluster in these discussion. And frankly it is not the first time this has been an issue. In fact, it has been problematic for a couple of years now. I keep thinking that I am misinterpreting your comments, but I no longer care. The effort to have intelligent conversation is not worth the arguing and disrespect. You really need to learn that other people's thoughts and opinions matter, even if you differ with them, but at 50 I doubt that will occur. Your basic lack of civility is where the problem lies. You seem to enjoy being condescending, I pity that as you are obviously intelligent. I am not the only one with this issue with you but most will not speak their mind as it is easier to ignore the issue than to confront it. So to prevent the issues from taking place in the future I suppose I will not participate in discussions of issues that could get deeply involved. The sad thing is that I really enjoy many of our discussions. Perhaps in time I will feel differently... and maybe you will too. Be well. You may say anything you wish from this point on, I will not be responding.
